IBC and MBC lunch networking event

The joint meeting of the Iranian Business Council in Dubai and the Malaysian Business Council was held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Deira.

During the ceremony, a film showcasing the history of the Iranian Business Council's activities in various periods was screened, followed by a presentation of the activities of the Malaysian Business Council. Ms. Mashreqi, the acting representative of the Iranian Business Council, welcomed all members and expressed gratitude to the members of the Malaysian Business Council, the Cultural and Social Center of Pakistan, and the Serbian Business Council.

Mr. Mosaddeghi, the president of the Iranian Business Council, extended a warm welcome to all members and thanked the leadership and members of the Malaysian Business Council, the president of the Serbian Business Council, and the members of the Cultural and Social Center of Pakistan for accepting the invitation.

Acknowledgment was also given to Dr. Mirbaqeri, the head of the Charity Association for School Construction in Iran. Mr. Mosaddeghi requested members' participation with their families in the upcoming Yalda Night event on Thursday, December 20, featuring Dr. Mashayekhi, Mrs. Salmanpour, and a musical group.

Mr. Fahmi, the president of the Malaysian Business Council, expressed gratitude for the invitation and shared that the council was established in 2007 under the auspices of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce. He highlighted the presence of approximately 8,000 to 10,000 Malaysian companies in the UAE engaged in various commercial activities. He mentioned the previous extensive involvement of Petronas in Iran in the energy, oil, and chemical sectors and expressed hope for further collaboration between Malaysian and Iranian companies.

Mr. Marko, the president of the Serbian Business Council, mentioned that the council, established about three months ago, has around 200 Serbian companies actively operating in the UAE. He expressed hope for expanding communication through trade with different countries and nationalities.

Mr. Khalid Imtiaz from the Cultural and Social Center of Pakistan thanked the Iranian Business Council for the invitation and advocated for the expansion of trade relations with Iranian companies and traders.

At the end of the session, new members of the Iranian Business Council, in the presence of Mr. Mosaddeghi, received their membership certificates.

On the sidelines of the meeting, some companies had set up booths for the promotion and introduction of their products and services, providing necessary details in a B2B format.
